We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to support the Site H&S Manager in delivering effective health and safety practices across the Crown Farms Estate in the East Anglian region.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving health & safety systems, ensuring compliance with legislation, and promoting a positive safety culture across the estate.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the HS&E Manager in conducting and reviewing Health & Safety assessments in line with current legislation
* Act as a key point of contact for all Health & Safety matters on site
* Maintain and implement Health & Safety processes and procedures across the estate
* Drive and support continuous improvement of the Health & Safety Management System
* Assist with accident/incident investigations and review risk assessments accordingly
* Provide guidance and support to management teams on Health & Safety matters
* Support and maintain the Behavioural Safety Programme
* Ensure accurate reporting and recording of all H&S issues, complaints, and incidents
* Assist with KPI data collection and reporting
* Conduct internal audits and site inspections
* Promote Health & Safety awareness across all teams
* Support internal and external H&S meetings
* Deliver training sessions, inductions, and toolbox talks
* Participate in an on‑call rota alongside the H&S Manager
* Undertake ad hoc duties in line with skills and experience
* Travel to 75+ Farms
Additional Responsibilities
* Comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and COSHH regulations
* Actively participate in risk assessments to reduce workplace hazards
* Uphold company ethical standards and codes of conduct
* Complete any required training to support your role and development
