Actual Salary £17,568 - £17,847 per annum Grade 5
This job is Part Time - Term Time Only: for 30 hours per week and 38.4 weeks per year.
It is offered on a Temporary basis until 31 August 2026
Approximate start date 2 February 2026.
Interview date week commencing 19 January 2026.
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated member of staff to join our hard working team of Teaching Assistants and hope to be able to extend beyond this date, dependent on funding.
While the hours advertised are 30 hours a week, part time hours for the post will be considered.
This post may involve 1:1 support for children with Education and Health Care Plans who require additional support to access school life or general duties within the classroom.
Essential qualities include discretion, empathy, professionalism and good personal organisation with great communication skills and a desire to see young people achieve their potential. Understanding of learning difficulties, knowledge of subject areas and experience of working with young people in an educational setting will be advantageous.
