On behalf of our client based in Ballymena we are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant
This role will be full time Mon-Fri
Job Duties
* HP Liabilities
o Maintenance of HP liability schedule showing monthly outgoings
o Reconciliation of HP liability nominal to HP liability schedule
o Completion of HP liability nominal line item transactions description - monthly
o Completion of HP interest nominal line item transactions description - monthly
o Completion of monthly HP Liability and HP interest charts with monthly and YTD commentary
o Posting of new HP liability agreements into Sage
o Assist with adhoc HP Liabilities queries
o Maintenance of the Fixed Asset register
o Maintenance of the depreciation schedule showing monthly outgoings
o Reconciliation of depreciation\'s nominals to the depreciation schedule
o Completion of depreciation nominal line-item transactions - monthly
o Completion of monthly depreciation charts with monthly and YTD commentary
o Assist with adhoc depreciation queries
* GMR & Supplementary Declarations
o Completion of GMR when required
o Ensure all paperwork is reported accurately and on time for supplementary declarations
* Purchasing
o Engagement with the production teams to ensure a good understanding of stock requirements
o Management of the Kanban system
o Ensure items are purchased and arrive in a timely manner
o Assist with ensuring items are purchased as the lowest possible price
o Assist with performing supplier price comparisons to help ensure we receive the lowest possible price
o Close out variance queries of delivery notes, purchase orders and supplier invoices
* Inventory Management
o Assist with the management of inventors
o Assist with inventory reporting
* OFI reporting
o Weekly preparation of OFI charts
o Assist with OGI reporting
* Production Operations reporting
o Assist with building and producing a suite of production operation reports
* Performance Packs & Budgeting
o Assist with the preparation of business performance packs, monthly, year-end & budgeting
* Monthly Reporting
o Assist with month end reporting
o Completion of monthly stock adjustment journals
* Other
o Ensure a high level of consistency and quality is maintained in every task performed
o Attendance and contribution at the weekly \"under the roof\" meeting
o Assist with any other business-related tasks required
Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in a similar position
* Strong systems experience, particularly in Excel
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in MS Office is essential.
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills
* Experience in credit control, including handling telephone communications.
