Fire Door Supervisor
Location: Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Worcester
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing (Temp to Perm Opportunity)
Rate: £30 per hour (39 hours/week - Early Friday Finish)
I'm working with a major main contractor delivering essential fire door upgrade and maintenance works across low-rise residential and sheltered housing schemes throughout the West Midlands.
They're seeking Fire Door Supervisors to oversee multiple occupied sites. One role will cover Birmingham, Walsall & Wolverhampton, and the other will cover Birmingham & Worcester. The works will include fire door maintenance and installation, cavity barriers, fire-rated glazing, and other associated passive fire protection measures.
This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to go temp-to-perm for the right candidate.
Key Requirements:
Strong experience in fire door installation/maintenance - either from a supervisory or hands-on background (essential)
Able to manage multiple subcontractors and works across live, occupied sites
Solid understanding of FRA compliance and passive fire protection standards
Minimum SSSTS required
FIRAS or BM Trada certification preferred but not essential
Excellent communication, organisation, and H&S awareness
Driving licence and willingness to travel across designated sites
