We're recruiting on behalf of a leading national apprenticeship and skills provider for three Learning Support Coach opportunities.
This is a fantastic chance to join a growing learner support team focused on helping apprentices with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (LDD) and Additional Learning Needs (ALN) to thrive in their programmes and careers.
These are primarily home-based roles, with occasional travel to academies and meetings across England (typically around twice per month).

The Role
As a Learning Support Coach, you'll work directly with apprentices and internal delivery teams to ensure learners receive the support they need throughout their apprenticeship journey.
You'll assess needs, create tailored support plans, coach learners 1:1, and guide Trainers / Coaches on inclusive strategies that can be embedded into delivery.
This is a highly rewarding role where your work will have a direct impact on learner confidence, retention and achievement.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct learner screening and identify support needs linked to SEND / LDD / ALN
* Create personalised Learning Support Plans with practical strategies and interventions
* Deliver 1:1 monthly coaching sessions with learners on your caseload
* Support learners with confidence, organisation, study skills and overcoming barriers to learning
* Advise Trainers / Coaches on inclusive teaching approaches and reasonable adjustments
* Ensure support strategies are implemented and reviewed effectively
* Maintain accurate learner records, compliance notes and funding documentation
* Work closely with operational and quality teams to ensure excellent learner outcomes
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (AET / PTLLS / equivalent accepted)
* Experience supporting learners with SEND / LDD / ALN
* Background within apprenticeships, training provider or post-16 education environments
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Able to manage your own diary and workload remotely
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required
Desirable:
* Apprenticeship sector experience
* Understanding of learning support funding / compliance
* Experience coaching or mentoring learners 1:1
* SEND qualification (not essential)
