Our client, a global company with offices on the Wirral are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team. It's a fantastic opportunity to work for a company with a very low turnover of staff. Their products are excellent, and their clients are across the UK and Ireland.
What you're key responsibilities will be:
* Attending client sites to manage the installations of new machinery
* Quickly reacting and solving breakdowns with any machines
* Managing scheduled maintenance repairs
* Building relationships with your key clients
* Offer advice and guidance to customers over the telephone or face to face
* Responsible for ordering spare parts and managing your spare part inventory
* Providing an excellent customer service
What experience/skills you'll need:
* You'll be an experienced Field Service Engineer and you'll enjoy travelling across the UK & Ireland
* Ideally you'll have a HNC/HND Engineering qualification (electrical bias)
* PLC Fault Finding experience
* You'll be a natural rapport builder and enjoy building relationships
* Comfortable with working extra hours as and when required
* A full UK driving licence
