Housekeeping Assistant at HC One
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. Joining HC One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to those individuals.
Your responsibilities will include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment, reflecting your attention to detail. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you'll do so with kindness and professionalism.
We are looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we provide comprehensive training. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential. A positive attitude, natural ability to get along with people, and strong communication skills—being attentive and considerate when interacting with residents and colleagues—are crucial qualities for this role.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to seek advice and report concerns when necessary.
We offer full training and a range of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
* Company pension scheme
* 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays
* Group life assurance
* Wagestream for financial well-being and flexible pay access
* Learning and development opportunities with support for qualifications
* GP online service for 24/7 consultations, available for you and your children under 16
