Job Description: Transformation Lead (Divestment Project)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced
Transformation Lead
to support a high-profile divestment programme within a global organisation. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth separation of systems, processes, and teams, enabling the business to deliver a successful carve-out with minimal disruption.
Working closely with senior stakeholders and programme teams, the Transformation Lead will act as a bridge between business and technical streams, ensuring delivery milestones are met, risks are managed, and governance is maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead transformation activities related to a business divestment programme.
* Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure alignment across functions (Finance, Technology, HR, Operations).
* Support programme governance, ensuring timely decision-making and tracking of progress.
* Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies across the separation activities, recommending mitigation strategies.
* Facilitate communication between workstreams and ensure documentation of key decisions.
* Ensure delivery remains on track and aligned to agreed timelines and objectives.
* Provide clear reporting and updates to programme leadership.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven track record of leading transformation, separation, or divestment programmes.
* Strong programme/change management experience, ideally within large/global organisations.
* Ability to work across multiple workstreams and manage complex stakeholder groups.
* Strong governance, risk management, and project tracking capabilities.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills with C-suite and senior stakeholders.
* Previous experience in divestment, carve-out, or M&A programmes highly desirable.
