A highly supportive special school in Wolverhampton is seeking two full‑timeplex Needs Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated staff team. The school supports children and young people with a wide range of moderate toplex learning needs,munication needs, physical challenges and additional social or emotional needs.
About the Pupils (SEN /plex Needs)You will be supporting pupils aged 5–19 with a range of needs, such as:
1. Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD)
2. Autism andmunication difficulties (SLCN)
3. Social, emotional and behavioural needs (SEMH)
4. Physical or sensory needs, including mobility or medical requirements

Your Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesThis is an excellent opportunity for candidates with care, support work or SEN experience—or those looking to start a career in specialist education. Responsibilities include:
5. Providing 1:1 and small‑group support tailored to individual pupils
6. Assisting with personal care, mobility support and feeding (training provided)
7. Supporting pupils using visual aids,munication tools and sensory resources
8. Assisting with physiotherapy routines, life‑skills activities and structured learning programmes
9. Helping pupils with emotional regulation, sensory needs and positive behaviour
10. Preparing classroom resources and maintaining a calm, safe environment
11. Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other support staff

12. Monday to Friday
13. 8:30am – 3:30pm
14. Term‑time only
15. Full‑time, long‑term roles with training provided
