Project Manager - Infrastructure

RS Group is currently seeking a talented Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team permanently. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering infrastructure and data projects to agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
You’ll work closely with internal teams and third-party partners to coordinate resources, manage risks, and ensure projects are delivered successfully from initiation through to closure.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Project Planning: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans that align customer requirements with business objectives, coordinating technical teams and stakeholders across all phases of delivery.
2. Resource Management: Manage project resources, including people, budgets, and materials, to ensure successful delivery.
3. Risk & Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Stakeholder Management: Engage effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements, manage expectations, and evaluate alternative solutions.
5. Technical Oversight: Provide technical direction and oversight to ensure infrastructure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards.
6. Project Closure: Ensure projects are formally closed, lessons learned are captured, and outcomes are reviewed to support continuous improvement.
About You
You’re an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager with a strong background delivering complex IT infrastructure projects in fast-paced environments. You’re comfortable working across both cloud and on-premise technologies, can confidently manage multiple stakeholders, and can see the bigger picture while driving delivery.
You bring a structured, proactive approach to project management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the organisation.

9. Hardware refresh programmes
10. Server update projects (on-prem and cloud)
11. Cloud and on-prem network infrastructure
12. Public-facing, third-party Wi-Fi solutions
13. Enterprise-wide WAN and LAN solutions
14. Voice (VoIP) and video communication platforms
15. Network security implementations
16. Cisco and Meraki network products
17. Structured cabling installation and commissioning
18. Software-defined network rollouts
19. Project Management Expertise:
20. Strong experience using PPM tooling and project management software
21. Advanced project management certification (e.g. APM, PMP, PgMP)
22. Technical Knowledge:
23. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud technologies
