Job Description
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils in a Primary School in Rumney, Cardiff.
Working hours required are 8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday.
You will be working with pupils based in the schools early years classes, who require extra support with their ability to learn. They may also need help focusing in lesson times and have access to additional learning tools to help them reach their maximum potential. The successful candidate will need to implement inventive learning techniques to engage the pupil, some with socialising difficulties, and general additional learning needs. Experience of working with nursery aged children would be beneficial for this role.
You will have:

4. Capability to monitor behavioural needs and support pupils with low self-esteem

You will need:
7. A minimum of 3 months child-based experience
8. Contactable references
9. A Child and Adult DBS – or be willing to undertake one via New Directions
10. A willingness to complete mandatory training when required
