The Role
Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a hands-on role with variety, autonomy and a friendly working environment? We Do Group are delighted to be supporting a well-established organisation in their search for a Management Accountant. You’ll produce monthly management accounts, provide budget reporting to key stakeholders, prepare and reconcile payroll and support the year-end process. This role suits someone who enjoys ownership of their work, can work proactively, and thrives in a small, collaborative finance team.
WISH LIST
* Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE
* Strong management accounts experience
* Ideally supported with payroll preparation and reconciliations

Responsibilities
Management Accounts & Reporting:
* Produce accurate monthly management accounts
* Deliver monthly budget reports to budget holders
* Complete monthly P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and termly fee invoicing
Payroll & Controls:
* Prepare monthly payroll, control sheets, and supporting documentation
* Cover payroll processing in the Finance Manager’s absence
* Ensure accurate purchase ledger records and support debtor management
Year-End & Audit Support:
* Assist with year-end accounts and audit preparation
* Provide reports and analysis for Finance Committee and budget holders
Process & Stakeholder Engagement:
* Suggest and implement process improvements with Finance Manager approval
* Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to resolve queries
* Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
Your Profile
* Previous experience in a management accounting role with payroll responsibility
* Strong Excel skills; comfortable manipulating and analysing data
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly organised and able to work to deadlines
* Customer-facing finance experience; education sector experience a bonus
