An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Stroke Data Administrator to join the Stroke Admin Team at Dorset County Hospital.
* Manage day to day workload to ensure achievement of all data input and reporting requirements within stated timescales including responsibility for prompting team members to complete any outstanding data items.
* Inputs data either independently or collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members.
* Prepares data reports (SSNAP, & TIA) for data quality and team meetings and audit submissions (Information Team, SSNAP) as required.
* Supports completion of relevant action plans and completes any actions allocated to the post, related to stroke/TIA data.
* Take minutes at any relevant team meetings as required.
* Maintain and develop patient information, clerical, secretarial and record keeping systems, both paper‑based and electronic, in line with established Trust systems, liaising with other departments, including Medical Records and Trust Headquarters, where necessary.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self‑motivated, enthusiastic and organised individual. The appropriate candidate would need to have a good telephone manner, experience of audiotyping and use of IT systems in a working environment.
