Role: Electrical Rollingstock Engineer
Location: Home/Field Based (covering Midlands engineering sites, so easy access to travel around the Midlands region is required)
Salary: circa. £60-75,000 + benefits
** Experience gained in Rail / Rollingstock areas is a prerequisite for this role **

We're looking for a talented Electrical Rollingstock Engineer with a strong technical background in rolling stock electrical systems and demonstrable rail sector experience. This is a key role within our client's expanding business, and you'll play a pivotal part in driving improvements in maintenance and overhaul to client's fleets, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.
The Role:
As the Electrical Rollingstock Engineer, you'll report to the Head of Engineering and will be primarily responsible for:
1. Overseeing the maintenance, overhaul, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within railway rolling stock.
2. Developing and implementing engineering strategies focused on enhancing the reliability and performance of rolling stock electrical systems.
3. Collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.
4. Proactively resolving complex technical issues within rolling stock electrical systems.
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and industry regulations.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Electrical Rollingstock Engineer role will have:
* Relevant engineering qualifications or experience with a focus on electrical systems.
* Proven experience in the rail sector, specifically related to rolling stock electrical systems.
* Strong technical and problem-solving skills in a rolling stock environment.
* The ability to manage your own workload with a high degree of autonomy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic Salary: circa. £60,000 - £75,000 + benefits
