The Opportunity Lancashire Cricket is seeking a proactive and organised individual to support our Business Development and CEH Team. This role will play a key part in coordinating administrative activity, including proposals, contracts, lead management and handling enquiries, while also contributing to research and outbound sales activity. The successful candidate will support ongoing sales initiatives and play an important role in the planning and administration of our Christmas 2026 programme, helping to drive commercial success across the business. What You’ll Be Doing Conducting targeted research to generate new business leads, identifying opportunities across key industries, events and networking platforms. Proactively following up warm leads and re-engaging lapsed, cancelled or declined enquiries to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline. Supporting outbound sales activity through database outreach and attendance at networking events, trade shows, FAM trips and open days. Managing incoming Christmas enquiries, preparing proposals, converting bookings, issuing contracts and administering deposits. Maintaining accurate sales records and tracking activity through Delphi and internal systems. Providing administrative support to the Business Development team, including creating proposals, contracts and client communications. Assisting with client engagement activity such as hospitality invites, entertainment calendar coordination and event follow-ups. Contributing to weekly sales meetings, reporting on activity and supporting the development of the wider sales plan. Building strong working relationships across the Conference & Events, Commercial, Operations, Stadium and Accounts teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. What You’ll Bring Excellent administration skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload to meet strict deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally at all levels. Confidence in contacting prospective clients, agents and venues to support sales activity. Strong research skills with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities. IT literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word and Excel. Experience of the Delphi booking system is advantageous but not essential. Good negotiation skills and the ability to influence outcomes positively. A genuine passion for sales and delivering commercial results. Working in the Conference & Events office, candidates must have experience of dealing with sales. You must be able to demonstrate that you are pro-active, sales focused, have strong administrative skills with exceptional standards of customer care. Although a Conference & Events background is preferred, it is not essential.
