Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive UAT Tester to support the testing and delivery of applications, web platforms, and EPOS/POS systems. This role sits at the intersection of product, development, and stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and deliver a high-quality user experience.
You will be responsible for planning and executing user acceptance testing, providing clear feedback to developers, supporting the product lifecycle, and contributing to product demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across:
* Mobile and desktop applications
* Web platforms
* EPOS and POS systems
* Validate system functionality against business and user requirements
* Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
* Identify, document, and track defects using agreed tools and processes
* Provide clear, structured feedback to developers and product teams
* Retest fixes and support regression testing where required
* Actively participate in the product lifecycle, from requirements review through to release and post-deployment support
* Support and contribute to product demonstrations, showcasing features and functionality to stakeholders and clients
* Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business users to clarify requirements and expected outcomes
* Ensure testing is completed within agreed timelines and quality standards
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in UAT testing or a similar QA role
* Experience testing applications, web platforms, EPOS and/or POS systems
* Excellent defect reporting and documentation skills
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
* Comfortable presenting and supporting product demos
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

Salary
* £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
