We are looking for experienced Production Operatives for our client based in Minsterley - food production experience is essential, please only apply if you have this.
The rate of pay is £32,011 per annum, plus 5% bonus!
This is a full-time role working 4 on 4 off, both days and nights. The hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm
- 6pm to 6am

Your Time at Work
As a Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating manufacturing machinery in accordance with procedures
- A proactive approach to all matters concerning Health and Safety
- Meeting operational line targets
- Minimising machine downtime
- Supports the delivery of the daily production plan for the line during the shift worked
- Operates plant/equipment, carrying out routine basic maintenance
- Understands and works to achieve/exceed daily KPI targets
- Take reasonable care for the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others that may be affected by their acts or omissions
- Carry out any other duties that are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed
Our Perfect Worker
The ideal candidate will have experience managing production lines, problem-solving, and fault-finding within a food manufacturing environment and have a high level of attention to detail.
Key skills & experience:
- Problem identification and communication in a timely manner
- Working on high-speed / high-volume machines and the plant
- Prioritisation of daily tasks
- Previous machine experience from within a fast-moving production environment is desirable
- Teamwork & Collaboration
- Right First Time (produces product to the required standard, minimizing finished goods waste)
- Controlling material losses
- Adherence to Standards (GMP)
- H&S Statistics (e.g., Accidents and Near Misses)
- A good listener/communicator
- Able to demonstrate initiative and prioritisation skills
