We are partnering with Citizen Church to recruit a dynamic and visionary leader to lead an Eden team into the town of Senghenydd in South Wales. Citizen Church has three sites, one in Senghenydd, one in Cardiff and another in Pontypridd. Citizen is led by Rev Mark Simpson.
Eden is a part of the Message Trust family. We send and support teams of urban missionaries to live sacrificially, share the gospel and build authentic community in areas of deprivation.
You will lead, grow, equip and enable an Eden team (a group of 6-12 volunteer missionaries) to reach local young people and families through personal witness, a missional lifestyle and programmed activities, committing to the pursuit of long-term transformation in the community. You will live incarnationally in the heart of the community. Your employer will be the Citizen Church but you will also be supported and mentored by the local Eden Manager.
