Overview
This is a permanent, full-time Land Management Officer role based at County Hall, West Bridgford. You will join a team managing over 1300 hectares of public green space and more than 50 kilometres of multi-user routes, including Sites of Special Scientific Interest, Local Nature Reserves and Local Wildlife Sites. You will oversee the management of approximately 30 sites with high public access.
Responsibilities
* Undertake site safety inspections.
* Manage priority habitats.
* Work with contractors and volunteers.
* Develop and deliver enhancement projects.
* Support training opportunities (e.g., chainsaws, tree inspections).
Qualifications and Experience
* Practical experience of managing green spaces for biodiversity and people.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £30,024 - £33,699 per annum. Hours: 37 per week. Hybrid working. Based at County Hall, West Bridgford (NG2 7QP).
