About the Role: Mitie has an exciting opportunity for a Relief Retail Security Officers in Lidl Stores around Portsmouth. Enjoy discounted benefits and gain high-quality experience within the security industry. Full training and a quality induction will be provided. You must be able to Drive and have access to your own vehicle to get to these sites.
Responsibilities:
11. Act as a visual deterrent on the shop floor
12. Safely detain offenders following H&S training
13. Utilize store security systems, including CCTV and EAS gates
14. Collaborate with covert security operatives
15. Investigate losses and support inquiries about known offenders
16. Complete accurate incident reports and company documentation
17. Report crime incidents using a company-provided tablet
18. Conduct routine patrols to ensure customer safety
19. Record patrols in daily activity sheets
20. Provide security updates during store briefings
21. Conduct shift handovers to ensure service continuity
22. Maintain a safe and secure environment for all
Qualifications:
23. Door Supervision or Security Guarding License
24. Five-year checkable employment history or documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or education
25. Driving licence and access to own vehicle
26. Previous experience in a retail security role
