We are seeking a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to start in April 2026 for a full-time role until August 2026, with the potential for the position to become permanent. What you will be doing as a Computer Science Teacher:
* Teaching inspiring Computer Science lessons that engage and challenge students across key stages.
* Providing students with a deep understanding of coding, algorithms, and computational thinking.
* Ensuring that students not only achieve academic success but also develop valuable, real-world skills.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that the Computer Science curriculum is broad, balanced, and reflective of the latest advancements in technology.
* Offering support and guidance to students, helping them reach their full potential, regardless of their starting point.
We are looking for a Computer Science Teacher who:
* Holds a recognised Teaching Qualification (QTS or equivalent).
* Demonstrates a passion for Computer Science and an enthusiasm for teaching.
* Can create an inclusive, ambitious, and focused learning environment.
* Is committed to high aspirations for all students and eager to help them achieve academic and personal success.
* Has the ability to inspire students to aim high and reach their potential.
* Experience in teaching Computer Science at KS5 is desirable, though not essential.
