Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with autism and associated learning differences.
* Create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
* Work in close partnership with families, colleagues, and external professionals to support pupils’ holistic development.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold our ethos of inclusion and community.
Qualifications & Skills
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Experience of teaching in a primary setting, with knowledge of KS2 curriculum.
* Understanding of autism and a passion for supporting children with SEND (specialist experience is desirable but not essential – training will be provided).
* Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
* A reflective practitioner who is resilient, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional development.
