The role of the Parts Advisor is integral to the success of the company. As the Parts Advisor you will be responsible for the purchase and stock control of all parts for repairing vehicles within the body shop. The successful candidate will be someone who's pro-active, approachable, has a can-do attitude and is happy to support where required.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately identify customer parts requirements
• Maintain parts stock and stock records
• Ensure all stock is kept secure and in good condition
• Maintain stock control and guard against any unauthorized removal of parts stock
• Ensure all incoming deliveries are checked and placed and any discrepancies reported to the line manager.
• Ensure that areceipt,paymentorauthorised signature is obtainedfor allpartsstock issued
• Assist line manager in all aspects of stock taking
• Process parts orders efficiently
• Ensure all paperwork, documentation and parts requisitions are completed accurately
• Source the availability of additional parts from the retailer
• Search for part numbers using the Electronic Parts Catalogue
• Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Satisfy customer requirements by identifying parts accurately
• Answer customer queries regarding parts warranties in a manner that is easily understood
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers by meeting and exceeding their expectations.
