At Scottish Water, we look after Scotland’s natural resource, ensuring water quality and environmental care. Our Portfolio Management function supports strategic investments, bridging Environment, Planning & Assurance, Finance, Strategy & Regulation, and Capital Investment Delivery.
The role of Benefits Management Team Leader is key as we evolve into a more strategic function, shaping and driving transformation initiatives within Portfolio Management.
Our team helps Scottish Water achieve long-term goals by balancing investments across projects, planning over a 6-year rolling period.
What you’ll do
* Ensure a consistent approach to benefits management across our portfolio.
* Lead a team of Portfolio Specialists managing near-term benefits and aligning them with strategic goals.
* Shape the future of Portfolio Management and support transformation initiatives.
* Implement benefits management processes from the SIDM project organization-wide.
* Develop and maintain benefits management practices, engaging stakeholders and communicating progress.
* Analyze benefits data to improve investment planning and decision-making.
What you'll need
* Proven experience in delivering and embedding change outcomes with a customer-focused approach.
* Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills.
* Ability to meet targets and adapt to shifting priorities.
* Driving license is desirable but not essential.

The not-so-small print
This role is Grade 8, starting salary £48,900, progressing to £68,510. From November 2024, a 35-hour workweek will be implemented. Applications close midnight 28th October, with interviews scheduled for early November.
