Job Overview:
A family-run freight company is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers with experience in temperature-controlled transport to join its busy team near Slough.The role will involve air-side work at nearby Heathrow airport, primarily transporting flowers, fruit, vegetables, salad and pharmaceutical cargo to retailers and wholesalers.
Requirements:
To be considered, applicants must have:
* Valid Class 1 HGV Class 1 license, CPC and Tacho card.
* Minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 road experience in the UK
* 5-year checkable work history
* Up-to-date DBS
* Refrigerated and/or roller bed trailer experience
* Heathrow "Horseshoe" experience
* Good knowledge of airport procedures and compliance
Desirable: (Not Essential)
* Up-to-date Cargo Operative Driver Certificate
