The RAC is the UK's leading breakdown service provider, a people-powered business of 4,000 'orange heroes' delivering top-tier motoring services. Our unprecedented growth presents a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanic to join our team.
As a Roadside Mechanic you will need:
* A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
* A customer-focused approach
* A full UK driving licence
* Flexibility to work on short notice
* Willingness to travel and stay overnight if necessary
This role involves working approximately 40 hours per week without a fixed roster. You will receive your schedule seven days in advance, with core hours sent three days prior, working between 0600 and 0200. Your shifts will include evenings, early mornings, weekends, and bank holidays.
