Responsibilities:
1. Deliver and maintain a high standard of personal care to residents according to their needs and desired outcomes.
2. Carry out procedures as instructed by the Registered Nurse, Senior Carer, or Head of Care within your scope of competence.
3. Document care provided, in accordance with procedures.
4. Report to the Person in Charge any changes in residents’ condition or circumstances that could impact care.
5. Report any complaints, incidents, or accidents immediately to the Person in Charge.
6. Be accountable for the quality of your work and take responsibility for maintaining and improving your knowledge and skills, attending training and supervision as required.
7. Promote mental and physical activity of residents through conversation, outings, and engaging in activities such as reading, hobbies, and social events.
8. Ensure all resident areas are hygienic, safe, and comfortable at all times.
9. Store equipment and stocks safely and efficiently, using resources economically.
10. Assist in ensuring the security of residents and premises by following security procedures and challenging strangers.
11. Maintain confidentiality regarding resident information obtained during employment.

Training:
Paragon Skills is a leading national Apprenticeship training provider supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organisations. We have high success and achievement rates, an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating, and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Learners are supported through regular check-ins with a dedicated Personal Tutor. Your employer will allocate 20% of your working hours to study, maximizing your chances of achieving the highest grades. Upon completion of this 12-month apprenticeship, you will earn a Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship.
Prospects:
Possibility of a full-time role after completing the apprenticeship.
