Job Title: Social Worker – Duty & Assessment TeamLocation: Skelmersdale, UKSalary: £36 HourlyContract: Full-Time Locum, 3 Months (with potential extension)

What You Will Do:
* Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to determine intervention needs and ensure safety.
* Collaborate with multi-agency partners to deliver holistic support and positive outcomes.
* Develop and implement tailored care plans, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
* Lead and participate in strategy discussions and child protection conferences, providing expert guidance.
* Maintain accurate and timely records, ensuring compliance with legislation and local policies.
* Support families with advice and resources to navigate challenges effectively.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
* Minimum three years in a permanent local authority role.
* At least two years’ experience in a duty and assessment position.
* Must not have held a permanent or fixed-term position within the last 12 weeks.
* CVs must clearly indicate previous roles as permanent or agency positions.
