Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This position requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry, particularly in food preparation and service.
Duties
* Supervise and manage staff to ensure efficient service.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
* Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
* Ensure that all health and safety protocols are followed during food preparation and service.
* Collaborate with management to develop menus that meet customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Experience
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
* Proven culinary experience with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques.
* Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in kitchen management.
* Experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
* Background in serving or barista roles is advantageous.
