Support Worker Ref: PC170 Location: Lewes Details This role is to support a Man Drivers licence required: Yes Own vehicle needed: Yes Employment status: Employed Hours per week: Up to 16 hours per week DAY SHIFT 8am-5pm (which includes 30 minute unpaid break) EVENINGS 5pm-10:30pm ONE WEEKEND DAY SHIFT EVERY 4 WEEKS Please apply with your availability Hourly pay rate: £14.50 Days/£16.80 Nights - We are looking for a kind and compassionate PA to work in a family home to support a 41 year old man with an acquired brain injury. Duties would include assisting him with personal care, hoisting, physiotherapy, PEG feed/medication and supporting him with getting out and about. Duties include: - Medication prompting/administering - Personal grooming - Moving and handling - Other relevant duties as required - Transportation - Dressing / undressing - Bathroom assistance Candidate qualities: - Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality - Reliable with good timekeeping - Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative - Hygienic, tidy and well organised - Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties - Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills - Honest and cheerful - Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard - Able to always work to high standards of health & safety Additional requirements Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours Notes: All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required.
