The opportunity
The AI & Data practice works collaboratively with our clients to enhance their ability to solve complex business problems by exploiting data and analytics strategies and solutions. We provide expertise and delivery in three core areas which all work closely together:
1. Data Architecture & Engineering – Focusing on next generation data solution architecture design and implementation
2. Data Management & Strategy – Supporting our clients with Data Strategy, Data Governance Data and Analytics Target Operating Model Design and wider Data Office and CDO support functions
3. AI and Advanced Analytics – Infusing AI and advanced analytics into EY’s priority solutions to improve business and operating models
Your key responsibilities
4. Elevate EY’s AI & Data brand with our Wealth and Asset Management clients through a combination of Thought Leadership and external events
5. Business development; including the development of long-term trusted advisor relationships with our clients across the C-suite (CEO, COO, CTO, CIO, CDO). You will lead pursuits and RFP responses
6. Contribute to our Data and AI solution design and implementation expertise bringing expertise around cloud based data and analytics solution design and implementation combined with a deep understanding of sector domain, processes and data. You will comfortable working with clients and other EY colleagues within Business consulting to support client engagements and develop thought leadership around data and technology.
7. Lead large and complex projects (Data Transformation, Data Analytics, Data Strategy) from strategy to execution.
8. Effectively leverage your knowledge and experience to support the delivery of key Data and AI projects, nurture valuable relationships both within EY and with clients, and develop strong capabilities through both formal training and working with senior mentors and talented colleagues.
9. Build and lead high performing teams, coaching, mentoring and serving as a role model for our people.
Skills and attributes for success
We’re looking for people with a track record of developing and delivering new business opportunities within a consulting environment. You should have relevant technology and programme management qualifications and also be comfortable taking ownership as well as working as a team member who has a real desire to share responsibility and provide support to your colleagues.
To qualify for the role you must have some or all of the following:
10. Previous Wealth and Asset Management experience
11. Expertise in our core capabilities of: Data Architecture & Data Engineering Data Management & Strategy AI & Advance Analytics
12. Demonstrable experience of complex data programmes
13. Developing and contributing to business development and go to market activities in the Data and Analytics space. You will lead RFP responses and thought leadership papers.
14. Expert level knowledge of the data requirements and design issues associated with the delivery of data projects for Wealth and Asset Management clients
15. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrable experience of building high performing teams and nurturing talent
16. Awareness of the emerging technology trends including adoption of cloud based technologies
17. Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to liaise with both technical and business contacts at our clients.
18. Ability to successfully deliver multiple engagements, exceed client expectations, manage commercial aspects ( contracts, billing and budgets), and manage quality and risk
19. Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and manage large cross functional projects
20. Intellectual strength / flexibility to rapidly understand complex problems and rationalise these into workable solutions which can then be delivered
