Are you a Paediatric Occupational Therapist looking for your next step in a supportive multi-disciplinary community team?
Our Children and Young People’s Integrated Therapy (CYPIT) East are expanding. We have exciting opportunities for qualified OTs at Band 6 and Band 7 with post qualification paediatric experience to join us in Maidenhead or Slough. We are also looking for a Band 5 passionate about a career in paediatrics.
You’ll join an experienced multi-disciplinary community team with a passion for seeing children and young people reach their potential.
Responsibilities
* Work with children and young people with developmental and complex needs
* Have independence and autonomy to manage your own caseload
* Join a collaborative team, committed to impact-based clinical decision making
* Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental / complex needs
* Function as a specialist autonomous clinician, supporting delivery of the CYPIT model and providing support to more junior staff
* Contribute to defined projects and service development initiatives as requested
* Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records and provide written therapy plans and reports including contribution to the EHCP Assessment process and tribunals as required
* Use the Care Aims care planning approach, impact-based clinical decision making, and associated outcome measures
* Provide specialist clinical care including assessment, diagnosis and interventions for a paediatric caseload

Working pattern
Our core hours are Mon – Fri 9-5, with some flexibility. We welcome full-time and part time applications (from 30 hours) and have permanent and fixed term contract positions available.

Must-haves
* Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with HCPC
* Post qualification experience working with children and young people for Band 6 and 7 roles
* A passion for working with children and young people
* Driver with access to a vehicle (or equivalent ability to travel between multiple sites efficiently)
