Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Officer for a Local Authority Client in Nottingham. In this role, you will provide high-quality housing advice and tenancy and estate management support, help residents access and sustain safe, secure and affordable homes. Duties: Deliver housing, tenancy and estate management services in line with legislation and policy Provide housing advice and support on lettings, rent, benefits and tenancy changes Respond to customer enquiries, complaints and vulnerability or safeguarding concerns Work with internal teams and partners to resolve issues and support sustainable tenancies Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: Experience in housing services, tenancy management, or customer support Knowledge of housing legislation, policies, and best practices Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills Experience handling sensitive issues such as complaints, safeguarding, or anti-social behaviour What's on offer: Salary: £17 *may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience* Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week How to apply: Once your CV is received, if you are successful, you will be contacted.
