The Company
A regional family owned and award winning Road sweeper, Tanker and Recycling business who have extensive client accounts in Bristol, Somerset and surrounding areas. They provide a variety of bespoke vehicles and highly skilled and experienced operatives that provide effective solutions for industrial cleaning requirements.
Job Purpose
The Business Development Manager will be the key point of contact between the business and customers, promoting existing services, offering professional advice on the most appropriate solutions, introducing new services and identifying opportunities to grow the customer base and enhance the brand.
Key Responsibilities
* To organise and maintain accurate records via sales pipeline
* Organising and attending both external and/or virtual site sales visits to discuss products and services across the business
* To identify and explore potential new services types and business opportunities.
* To develop and maintain a robust sales plan introducing services to brand new customers and to canvass the existing customer base developing and maximising relationships.
* Regular review of sales performance ensuing monthly and periodic revenue and profit targets are maintained.
* Monitoring and reviewing customer accounts in order to maintain targeted margins, negotiating with clients in the event of variance.
