Are you a Building Physics or Performance Engineer looking to join a consultancy where technical quality, learning and long-term development are genuinely prioritised?

You'll be joining a close-knit team of five specialists with over 30 years' combined experience, offering the chance to learn from senior professionals while developing your own technical expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.
The Role
As a Building Performance Engineer, you'll support projects from early design through to delivery, providing performance-led insight that shapes better buildings. Your responsibilities will include:
* Producing Part L and Part O assessments for new build and refurbishment projects
* Delivering dynamic thermal modelling, including TM54 energy modelling and TM59 overheating assessments
* Using IES VE to analyse energy use, thermal comfort and building performance
* Advising design teams on performance-driven solutions to improve efficiency and occupant comfort
* Preparing clear, high-quality technical reports for clients and project teams
* Working collaboratively with MEP engineers, architects and external stakeholders
What You'll Bring
* Experience in building physics or building performance consultancy
* Strong knowledge of Part L, Part O, TM54 and TM59
* Confident user of IES VE or similar dynamic modelling tools
* Experience working on UK-based projects across multiple sectors
* Strong technical report writing and communication skills
* A proactive approach and genuine interest in developing technically
