We’re hiring Electrical Technicians, working on state-of-the-art locomotives. You’ll play a key role in ensuring reliability, safety, and performance as part of one of the UK's leading rail engineering organisations.

Responsibilities:
• Conducting advanced fault-finding and identifying repairs
• Supporting condition monitoring and manually monitored systems on modern locomotives
• Collaborating with performance engineers and production teams to resolve technical issues
• Acting as a systems specialist (training and support provided)
• Performing system tests and precise measurements on electrical, electronic, software, and mechanical systems
What we’re looking for:
• Recognised engineering apprenticeship (minimum Level 3, City & Guilds / BTEC) with Electrical, Mechanical, or electronic bias
• Experienced in maintenance engineering
• Electrical and diagnostic skills, including the ability to read schematics and lead fault investigations
• Confidence in solving technical problems and collaborating across teams
Applicants will be required to pass an electrical fault-finding assessment as part of the recruitment process.
