We also have offices in Scotland and various distilleries and production sites across the UK from Plymouth to London to Speyside. Your new team This position sits in our Chivas Brothers business. At Chivas Brothers, our 1,600-strong team across 27 sites is committed to upholding the heritage of Scotch and ensuring its sustainable future, as well as opening it up to new audiences across the globe. Your unique contribution As the Experience Leader at The Glenlivet Distillery Brand Home, you will elevate the distinctiveness of our world‑renowned Single Malt Scotch Whisky experience while showcasing the exceptional character of Speyside as a destination. This role is central to shaping immersive, memorable guest interactions and driving excellence in hospitality, storytelling, and operational performance. You will manage the operation of the visitor Experiences and the “Drawing Room” Bar at The Glenlivet Distillery Brand Home, ensuring an exceptional customer journey while achieving revenue and profit targets. The Experience Leader is expected to innovate and enhance traditional whisky experiences, lead and develop a high‑performing team, and embody exemplary guest engagement and leadership behaviours. As Experience Leader you will contribute to the overall strategy, direction and evolution of The Glenlivet Distillery Brand Home. Key responsibilities: Champion The Glenlivet Experience and deliver against P&L targets that reflect commercial success. Exceed business performance objectives through continuous monitoring of ticket sales, visitor numbers, and experience profitability. Regularly optimise the experience offering to maximise guest satisfaction and commercial outcomes, notably in regular collaboration with the Retail Leader. Ensure daily, monthly, and quarterly KPI tracking, delivering timely and consistent reporting. Design and implement new and upgraded whisky experiences to differentiate The Glenlivet Distillery Brand Home within Speyside’s competitive landscape. Develop scripts, content, and pricing strategies for unique and immersive experiences. Grow and refine online and social media engagement strategies, enhancing the guest journey before, during and after the visit - keeping in line with The Glenlivet brand ambitions. Monitor and optimise online booking capabilities including group bookings. Lead a team of 2 permanent and up to 10 seasonal employees, ensuring strong training, engagement, motivation and performance. Deliver and maintain high standards in tours, tastings, retail skills, storytelling, brand advocacy, and guest service. Model positive behaviours including proactive engagement, authentic storytelling, and effective task delegation. Manage & maintain the “Drawing Room” Bar, ensuring outstanding hospitality and consistent product availability. Develop a seasonal cocktail menu quarterly to support brand and commercial objectives. Maintain excellence in inventory control and stock management. Create & lead VIP/HNWI hosting and private events, fostering long‑term relationships with key guests and stakeholders. Enhance The Glenlivet Brand Home’s visibility and reputation across Speyside and international markets. Ensure effective planning and deployment of staff across the site. Who you’ll be working with Internally; you will have two direct reports and work closely with Brand Home Manager, Retail Leader, Brand Home team, Gold Brand Unit Marketing Team Externally; you will work with Retail suppliers, Chivas brothers Customer service team, Agencies and I.T Support teams, Brand Home visitors and customers Your blend of talent This position could be right for you if you have: Proven senior management experience within experience-led environments, ideally within international luxury, premium hospitality, or tourism brands where delivering world class service is paramount. Strong leadership capabilities with demonstrated success managing large or diverse teams with different skill sets. Expertise in experience management including tour operations, tastings, bar operations, guest relations, and complaint resolution. Ability to maintain a welcoming, engaging, and safe environment for all guests. Proven track record of working at pace, managing multiple priorities. You will be able to seamlessly identify and execute operational process improvements. Solid background in marketing, PR, brand ambassadorship, or events management, with experience delivering against KPIs and revenue targets. Strong inventory management skills. Genuine passion and knowledge of whisky and the wider spirits category. Degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
