Role: Early Years Teaching Assistant
Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (with the opportunity to go temp to perm)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 3:45pm
Pay: From £82.14 daily
Provide Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner primary schools in the LS17 area of Leeds. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a key role in supporting young children at the start of their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative Early Years activities
*
Assist with the development of children’s language, social, and motor skills
*
Provide 1:1 or small group support to ensure every child thrives
*
Help to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
*
Monitor and record pupils’ progress and development
*
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff to support each child’s needs
*
Offer care and supervision during play and learning activities
Requirements
*
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
*
Experience working with children in an Early Years or Nursery setting
* Experience working with non-verbal children
*
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
*
Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
*
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
