Salary: £15,000 - 16,200 per year Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of Cisco LAN and Wireless LAN technologies, including switching and IP addressing best practices
* Hands-on expertise with Cisco routers and switches (e.g., 3850s, Nexus 9k, ISRs, ASRs)
* Experience configuring networks in a managed data-networking environment, supported by a relevant networking qualification
* Self-motivated, with the ability to build strong customer relationships and work effectively in a team environment
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Active SC clearance is strongly desirable
Responsibilities:
* Configure routers and switches in line with design documents (IP data perspective)
* Onboard devices onto the network management platform
* Rack and stack relevant devices in Data Centres
* Attend internal meetings and work closely with project managers to deliver the implementation plan
* Provide out of hours standby support on a minimum 1 in 6 ROTA basis
* Travel to various locations for physical interventions during incident management
