What You’ll Be Doing: Deliver commissioning activities across HV, LV, DC, and generator systems (e.g. 400kV, 10kV, 400VAC, 690VAC, 220VDC). Prepare and manage commissioning plans, test procedures, and validation records. Support design reviews to ensure systems are commissioning-ready. Lead and monitor a defined programme of commissioning tests. Supervise contractors to ensure safe and timely delivery of work. Coordinate with design and project teams to align technical outputs. Contribute to planning meetings and support cross-discipline collaboration. What You’ll Need: Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671) certified. Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information. Experience using planning tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6. Background in commissioning within regulated or large-scale infrastructure projects. Desirable: Experience within the nuclear, power generation, or similarly regulated sector. Familiarity with site-based commissioning environments and health & safety requirements. Ability to work across multiple systems and disciplines.
