SEN Teaching Assistant | The Role:
* Work closely with the school’s SENCO and pastoral team to support students’ emotional wellbeing.
* Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
* Help develop personalised support plans for students.
* Liaise with external professionals such as CAMHS, Educational Psychologists, and school counsellors.
* Gain hands-on experience in a school setting and receive ongoing training and mentoring.
SEN Teaching Assistant | Requirements:
* A degree in Psychology or a related field (or in the process of completing one).
* A genuine interest in mental health and child development.
* Empathy, resilience, and excellent communication skills.
* Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
