Role Overview We’re looking for a creative, switched-on Social Content Creator who lives and breathes social media. Someone who understands what makes people stop scrolling and can turn that into daily content gold. You’ll help shape how Team RH shows up online: spotting viral moments, shooting behind-the-scenes content, and creating authentic short-form videos that perform across social platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This role is based full-time in-house at our Team Valley Office (Gateshead). Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week. Key Responsibilities Create short-form social content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) that captures attention quickly and keeps people watching. Identify engaging clips from long-form podcasts, videos, and team content worth turning into social clips. Edit initial raw cuts — framing, trimming, and captioning content before passing to the Content Producer for further refinement or repurposing where needed. Capture behind-the-scenes, office, and day-to-day moments that build authenticity and culture. Work closely with the marketing team to align on content, tone, and messaging. Work proactively and independently to keep content flowing consistently. Stay ahead of social media & industry trends - identifying opportunities for Team RH to jump in early. Required Skills Excellent understanding of social media platforms and their specific content requirements. Demonstrable passion for making creative content with personal profile(s). Instinct for spotting viral moments, trends, and what’s genuinely worth repurposing. Strong attention to detail in captions, visuals, and timing. Good time management and organisation, able to handle multiple content threads at once. Willingness to experiment and learn new tools, especially AI-assisted creation tools and social platform features. Collaborative mindset and works well with marketing, creative, and brand teams to align on messaging and campaigns. Additional Skills (Nice to have) Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar. Background in social media, marketing, or creative content. Experience using AI creation tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Higgsfield, Kling, etc) for idea generation or asset production. Interest in health, fitness, or lifestyle industries.
