Fire Alarm Service Engineer - North East England
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join a well-established and growing fire and security business covering the North East of England.
This is a field-based role, ideally suited to an engineer who is confident working independently across servicing, maintenance, fault finding and small works on a range of fire alarm systems within commercial and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Servicing, maintenance and fault finding on fire alarm systems
* Carrying out reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
* Small works, repairs and system adjustments where required
* Ensuring all work is completed in line with current standards and regulations
* Completing accurate service documentation and reports
* Providing a high level of customer service while on site
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Good knowledge of a range of fire alarm systems (multiple manufacturers desirable)
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
* Strong understanding of health and safety and compliance standards
Package
* Competitive base salary up to 38,000 (depending on experience)
* On-call rota (1 in 5) with additional payments
