Role: CAD Engineer

The Team
The CAD team defines, integrates, and controls the product definition for the entire powerplant. Working at the centre of multidisciplinary engineering, we create high‑integrity 3D models and layouts that enable safe, efficient, and innovative SMR design across multiple global sites.
Summary
We’re now looking for a CAD Engineer to support our Components & Layouts team, contributing to the development and integration of high‑integrity product definitions. This is a key role in maturing our SMR design, shaping layout integration, and ensuring robust, compliant engineering outputs across a fast‑growing, highly collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Creating and maintaining high‑quality 3D models, 2D drawings and integrated layout assemblies in Siemens NX.
* Supporting configuration, change control and the accuracy of CAD deliverables across the lifecycle.
* Collaborating with engineering teams to translate requirements into clear, integrated product definitions.
* Applying GD&T, standards, and best practice across all model‑based definitions.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
* Proficiency in 3D CAD software, ideally Siemens NX, or equivalent demonstrable industry expertise.
* Experience producing component definitions, assemblies, and integrated layouts in complex engineering environments.
* Strong understanding of GD&T principles, engineering drawing standards (ASME Y14.5 / BS8888), and configuration control.
* Knowledge of P&IDs, multidisciplinary design, or Teamcenter is beneficial.
