This role requires a candidate with a solid development, planning and delivery background.Experience in delivering projects through all early development stages is essential for the role.Reporting to the Regional Development Director you willbe responsible forensuring thetimelyprogression of schemes from Land Acquisition / Early Engagement, through design development to planning consent.You willbe responsible forscoping, appointing, coordinating, and managing the development and consultant teams. This includes setting up and chairing meetings to ensure programme requirements are met efficiently and effectively.Youlldrive progress through theearly stagesof planning, legal, and financial processes while actively managing risk andmaintainingthe financial viability of each scheme.The role requires regular internal and external reporting on all stages of development, progress against programme milestones, and management of development expenses. You will present updates to the executive team, stakeholders, and board asrequired.You will have an in-depth understanding of contracts, planning policy and constraints, the pre-planning process (programme) and stakeholder management.To succeed in this role,youllneed strong personable skills and experience managing external consultants and internal stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
