Bilfinger UK is looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator to start on our Puma project based in Hull.
Responsibilities of the Temporary Works Coordinator include:
* Identify any planned work requiring Temporary Works in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with project/construction managers, engineers, and site supervision to plan and schedule Temporary Work activities to ensure smooth execution.
* Ensure discipline supervisors are aware of and understand Temporary Works requirements in their areas.
* Liaise with the Temporary Works designer to ensure designs are suitable, sufficient, and fit for purpose.
* Ensure all temporary works comply with relevant standards, regulations, and project specifications.
* Identify potential risks and issues related to temporary works and address them proactively to prevent delays or safety concerns.
* Implement an inspection regime for temporary works.
* Maintain a Temporary Works Register and files containing relevant information such as designs, risk assessments, calculations, and inspection reports.
* Communicate with other departments to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project timelines, scope, and deliverables.
* Keep the Work Pack Manager informed of progress and issues as appropriate.
* Attend daily coordination meetings and other relevant meetings.
Skills and qualifications:
* Good interpersonal skills required as part of a large project team.
* Self-motivated to meet client deadlines.
