The company is a leading FinTech Software Company, experiencing huge growth and with a reputation for being a market leader. Following significant investment they are currently scaling and looking for an Account Executive to join their already well‑established sales function to help grow and develop their customer base. As a disruptor in the industry, they are currently growing at an exceptional pace and can offer short‑term and long‑term progression and development opportunities.
This role is a mixture of new business and account management where you will be allocated an existing base of relationships as well as expected to drive new business customers. Their software portfolio is broad with multiple different solutions for each customer so it’s essential you can equally strategically grow accounts as well as win new business clients. You will define and execute sales strategies with a focus on the UK market across an established region. Customers predominantly sit within the Accountancy and professional services market.
This is largely home‑based position with occasional visits to customer site and the office so you can be based anywhere in England. You will need to have a background selling SaaS into accountancy firms.
Responsibilities
* Nurturing, advancing and managing relationships within a dedicated region to grow and add value your customer base
* Prospect and win new business customers through consultative selling techniques
* Develop strong relationships at all levels, identifying key decision makers and influencers
* Utilise Salesforce to manage your pipeline, and to allow effective reporting
* Take full accountability for defined targeted customers, using metrics to monitor performance and understand results and drivers of performance
* Collaborate closely with other team members
* Key measures of success are, new customer growth and revenue growth
* You will lead the sales strategy in your region
* Attend industry relevant events to network and increase company profile
Qualifications
* At least 3 years in a Business Development / Account Manager role
* Experience of selling Accountancy Software, Accountancy Services, Payroll Solutions
* Experience with selling solutions with focus on value in a consultative manner
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the excellent communications skills at all levels
* Gravitas/Presence - demonstrates credibility and confidence
* Ability to manage pipeline in a timely effective manner
* Proven track record of over achievement in sales
* Customer Empathy – curious and genuinely wants to ease their pain points
* Strategic thinker – with the ability to come up with an effective plan for tackling assigned territory, and see how that fits into the overall UK strategy
* Ability to think about the overall team success not just your own
