Essential Criteria
* Evidence of recognised professional qualification as Psychotherapist (Level 7 or above)
* Registered member of HCPC
* BACP accredited
* Integrative therapist, CBT informed
* Not newly qualified; more than 2 years’ experience
* Specialist education setting experience; working therapeutically within a school/child and adolescent setting preferred
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
* Experience of working with people with neurodivergence and/or complex needs (e.g., complex trauma, neurodevelopmental differences, mental health needs)
* Ability to work independently under supervision
* Experience of multi‑professional work teams or services within a designated speciality
* Evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the setting
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Psychotherapist to join our developing Clinical Team at Heath Farm School. In this role you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism and associated learning and emotional needs. You will implement a holistic therapeutic approach to help pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable and healthy. You will carry out specialist individual assessments and interventions, prepare documentation, including reports, and work alongside the onsite clinical team to develop clinical service provision, providing support and training to staff and parents.
Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex communication needs, autism, and associated learning and emotional needs.
* Implement a holistic, therapeutic approach supporting pupils’ daily wellbeing.
* Carry out specialist individual assessments, interventions and documentation, including writing detailed reports.
* Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and enhance service provision.
* Provide support and training to staff and parents as required.
* Maintain a strong safeguarding culture and ensure pupils are heard, respected and involved in decision‑making.
Qualifications
* Evidence of recognised professional qualification as Psychotherapist (Level 7 or above)

* More than 2 years’ experience with specialist education settings
* Experience working in settings with neurodivergence and complex needs
* Strong report‑writing and clinical documentation skills
