The Emergency Services Network (ESN) is a strategic priority for BT, aiming to provide advanced mission-critical communications for Britain’s Emergency Services, replacing the Airwave network and supporting 300,000 frontline users. You will be responsible for designing and delivering the radio vendor OSS, including layer 3 trace management and geolocation systems, impacting Nokia, Ericsson, and Cisco network management tools.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing RAN Element Managers and Trace Management tools supporting the ESN contract
* Collaborating with RAN, Platform, and IP Designers to ensure OSS platform designs support radio and transmission technologies
* Engaging with users to propose solutions for RAN data visualization and planning
* Resolving RAN Data issues and enhancing network designs for efficiency and scalability
* Advising technical teams on network design solutions

What We Would Like To See On Your CV
* Experience with Mobile Radio Networks and OSS architectures, especially Network Element Management platforms
* Knowledge of Nokia MantaRay NM, Ericsson ENM, Cisco EPNM, Trace Management, and Geolocation tools
* Unix/Linux scripting skills (BASH, PERL, PYTHON)
* Background in business strategy, KPIs, data reporting, and organizational performance
* Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is desirable
