Job Description - Field Based Coffee Service Engineer (Apprentice)
Are you looking for a new challenge within a growing, driven local business? We have an exciting opportunity for a Field-based Coffee Service Engineer. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of work experience.
Details
* Location: Romsey, Hampshire (covering BH, DT, PO, SO, TA, RH, GU & SP postcodes)
* Job Type: Full-time, Entry level
* Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 – 16:30 (40 hours/week with 30-minute lunch)
* Vehicle: Company vehicle provided
* Uniform, Equipment/Tools, Mobile Phone, Laptop: Provided
* Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays
* Salary: To be confirmed + weekend cover allowance (paid monthly on the 28th)
Training & Responsibilities
* Induction and ongoing training in-house and with key manufacturers
* Attend breakdown calls to repair coffee machines at customer sites
* Work in the workshop to repair and pre-deliver inspect machines
* Provide preventative maintenance and site surveys
* Install and service a range of espresso and bean-to-cup machines
* Conduct servicing, pressure tests, and complete all paperwork to company standards
* Provide customer training and excellent service on every visit
* Participate in internal and external training courses on coffee machine repairs
Candidate Profile
* Team player with good communication skills
* Responsible, with a strong work ethic
* Able to work independently and prioritize tasks
* Quick learner with transferable skills
* Full UK driving license (vehicle provided)
* Reside in Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, or near Romsey
* Basic computer literacy
* Experience in the coffee industry or engineering service roles is desirable but not essential
